Dr. Michael K. Eduful is currently a Lecturer at Towson University at Towson, MD, USA. He holds a BA in Geography and Sociology degree from Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), a Master of Science in Urban Governance and Development from the University of Birmingham, UK and MSc Geography (Community and Environmental Planning concentration) from the University of Montana, USA. He also holds a PhD degree in Geography, Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida.

As a broadly trained human and environmental geographer, Dr. Eduful’s areas of interest include water resource management and policy, environmental planning, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development. His research is at the intersection of resource management and utilization, environmental degradation, and good governance. Dr. Eduful is particularly interested in examining and understanding the complexities associated with resources management and utilization in the era of increasing global climate change. Some of his most recent works have focused on perceptions of urban water degradation, rural communities’ adaptation and water resource protection, and militarization of artisanal and small-scale mining space and environmental degradation. Dr. Eduful is also interested in examining effective mechanisms for promoting effective stakeholder engagement, increased participation of all stakeholders, and community empowerment in natural resource management to ensure sustainable utilization and development. As a Director of FASUL, Dr. Eduful is passionate about how rural and under-served families access portable water.

Joyce Eduful is an applied sociologist whose work focuses on institutional gender equity and policy implementation. She has extensive experience in organizational research and project management. She also has substantial retail, management, and customer engagement background. Joyce has worked on numerous institutional projects related to gender equity and employee job satisfaction. Throughout her work experience and academic training, she has acquired in-depth expertise in managing multiple projects resulting in institutional policy implementation several publications. Her skillset shows that she is talented in multi-disciplinary fields.

Joyce holds a PhD in Sociology from South Dakota State University. Before her PhD studies, Joyce worked in various management and customer relations positions. Currently, she works with one of US’ largest financial institutions as a relationship executive. Joyce has a passion for women’s empowerment projects, community development and is committed to helping people succeed.

Ben Eduful is passionate about supporting the under privileged in society and helping them to live a life of dignity that aligns with God’s plan and purposes for humankind. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of FASUL since its inception. Dr. Eduful is a Medicinal Chemist with extensive experience in the drug discovery and development process and advanced synthetic organic chemistry. He currently holds a position with Entegris Inc., a global leader in advanced materials science, as a Synthetic Chemist. He previously worked as a Research Chemist – Medicinal Chemistry at Hager Biosciences in Bethlehem, PA, USA. In previous engagements, he worked at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, part-time lecturer of Pharmacology at the University of Cape Coast (Ghana) School of Medical Sciences (UCCSMS), and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of South Florida. Ben holds MS in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK., and a Ph.D. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from the University of South Florida, USA..

Naomi currently works as an administrator in an accounting firm in Accra. Prior to that, she worked with the Department of Social Welfare. Her passion is to see lives transformed through positive mindsets. She holds the belief that when people are offered hope, they can live to become the best versions of themselves. She aspires to be a voice to the voiceless and help bridge the social gap within communities in she works. She holds a BA in Geography and Rural Development from the KNUST and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra, Ghana.
