Management

    The Management is the team that runs the day-to-day programs of the organization. They prepare proposals, search for funding sources, and annual operation budgets, liaise with international partners, development agencies, etc., prepare specific operation procedures (SOP) to achieve the targets/activities set out in approved proposals, plan and undertake field activities, prepare progress reports and other activities that may be suggested by the Board of Directors and Advisors. The management is headed by the Executive Director who sets out and give direction to the organization based on consultation with the Board of Directors and Advisors. The Executive Director is assisted by the Project Coordinator who, reporting to the Executive Director, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization. There are also the research officer, who oversees research work, and the administrative secretary, who is responsible for the day-to-day administration and correspondence work of the organization. Other management staff include the accountant, the field liaison/borehole mechanic as well as the driver.

    Professional Profile

    Paul Kwaku Cheremeh is the Assistant Research and Business Development Officer at Family Support Lifeline (FASUL), where he supports the organisation's research, project development, partnership building, and business development activities. Working alongside the Research and Business Development team, he contributes to identifying opportunities, developing project concepts, strengthening strategic partnerships, and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the lives of families and communities in underserved areas of Ghana.

    Mr. Cheremeh is an architect with a strong interest in community development, sustainable design, and the relationship between the built environment and human well-being. He holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Architecture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. His architectural training has equipped him with skills in design, spatial planning, environmental considerations, research, and problem-solving, which he applies to FASUL's community-focused development work.

    Mr. Cheremeh's professional interests lie at the intersection of architecture, sustainable development, community development, and research. He is interested in how thoughtful design, appropriate infrastructure, and locally responsive interventions can contribute to healthier, more resilient, and sustainable communities. At FASUL, this perspective complements the organisation's work in areas including education, health, water and sanitation, community development, and support for vulnerable families.

    Research and Business Development

    In his role, Mr. Cheremeh contributes to strengthening FASUL's research and business development capacity. His responsibilities include supporting research activities, project concept development, identification of potential funding and partnership opportunities, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement.

    He is particularly interested in building collaborations that bring together research, professional expertise, community knowledge, and development resources to address challenges faced by underserved communities.

    Through this work, he seeks to help FASUL develop initiatives that are not only responsive to immediate community needs but are also sustainable, evidence-informed, and capable of creating long-term impact.
