Sampson Oduro-Kwarteng is a Full Professor in Water and Environmental Sanitation Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He holds MSc in Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation from KNUST and a PhD with specialisation in Private Sector Involvement in Solid Waste Management from UNESCO-IHE in the Netherlands.

He is, currently, the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, KNUST and the Director of the KNUST Regional Water and Environmental Sanitation Centre (RWESCK), which is under implementation under the World Bank African Centres of Excellence Project.

Prof. Oduro-Kwarteng has been an advisor to FASUL since 2014 and a regular resource person for FASUL’s annual training workshop for WATSAN committees and community people.
