    PROFESSOR FUMI OLOPADE AND FASUL WIN $10,000 GRANT FROM THE KIPHART CENTER FOR GLOBAL HEALTH AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT (KCCGHSD).

    Prof. Fumi is the principal investigator while the Director of FASUL, Dr Alexander Eduful is the co-principal investigator, the grant being received is to be used to facilitates FASUL’s research and development agenda. The grant received results from an earlier proposal submitted by the research and development officer of FASUL to the Crown School April, 2022 in its maiden advertisement for proposal submissions. Supported by the funding opportunity FASUL working with academics and social development practitioners has currently undertaken research on the topic “Assessing the impact of Covid-19 on education and teenage pregnancy in rural and underserved communities in Ghana”.

    Also, with the renewed interest of FASUL in widening their life-impacting projects in some rural and underserved communities in Ghana. FASUL has entered into partnerships with academics, health and social development practitioners in various institutions in Ghana. These are Prof. Jones Louis Arthur of the Suyani Technical University, Dr. Gladys Quartey of Takoradi Technical University, Dr. Vivian Paintsil of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and also Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and Mr. Abraham Bugyei Gyimah.
