The Board of Advisors provide advice and recommendations to the organization from time to time. They meet twice a year and make written recommendations/advise to the Management through the Executive Director, who in turn informs the Board of Directors. Once agreed by the Board of Directors, the Management, headed by the Executive Director develops implementation tool from the recommendations/advise.
Prior to his current role, James spent several years working with different engineering consulting firms across western Canada. James worked as a Senior Project Engineer in a multidisciplinary environment where he managed several engineering projects from design through construction and commissioning. As the Senior Project Engineer, he managed a team of other engineers and professionals on the numerous projects he led. James also worked as a Senior Risk Control Consultant for Aon in 2015 where he was the Regional Lead on risk control for the whole of Saskatchewan. As part of his role, he often conducted several inspections and analyzed complex risk issues and provided strategic advice and recommendations to improve associated risk of different commercial and industrial facilities.
James Eduful received his Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering with research focus in Fire Protection Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa - Canada. His research contributed significantly to the creation of NFPA 557, a Standard for the determination of fire loads for use in structural fire protection. James also holds a Master of Science and a first-class Bachelor of Science degrees from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi – Ghana. James is passionate about creating opportunities that help to reduce and eliminate poverty in under-served and rural communities.
